The NARA in Ft Worth does have the Arkansas CSR. I have been reseaching 4 graves in Pittsburg, TX and have one very strong candidate match with an Arkansas surgeon (14th Power's)/2 Leiut (1st Stirman's), James S. Deane. the crude chiseled boulder on the grave says "DOCT J.S. DEANE" & "1863". Deane's CSR ends with parole from Vicksburg 8 July 1863.
