Moved from Louisiana in the CW Message Board by Admin

Requesting guidance in searching for maternal greatgrand fathers, confederate service. His name was Michael McIntyre and he risided with his sister in Arkansas before the agression took place, returning and finally settling with his wife in Camden, AR where he died. Mother remembers confederate marker on grave but indicates this was stolen when the tombstone was desicrated many years ago. Neither he nor his wife applied for a pension that I have been able to find. His name does appear in 5 units, but have not been able to locate same on any muster rolls that I reviewed that can tie him to any of them. Regiment names are: 9th Tennessee Infantry, 22nd Mississippi Infantry, 24th Mississippi Infantry, 9th VA Calvalry (Johnson's) and 21st VA Infantry.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
