Re: Confederate Ancestor Search

Following is the material I have from his obit: Mr. Michael McIntyre was born in the Parish of St. Columbkille, County Donegal, Ireland, on the 12th day of August 1838. He came to the United
States when a mere boy, but possessed even at that tender age the vim and energy that has ever characterized his life. After landing in America he traveled through the Eastern States for several years, working at anything honorable he could find to do, and afterwards held a position on one of the
ships plying the great lakes and St. Lawrence River. In 1868 he came to Camden and remained here for several years. When the Iron Mountain Railroad was built he moved to Prescott, where he made his home until the spring of 1891, when he returned to Camden with his wife and children, and has since
resided here, being engaged in mercantile pursuits. He was married on the 4th day of May, 1884, to Mrs. Edward Cassidy (nee Miss Mary Trainor). Three bright children were the fruits of that marriage, Joveta, Bridget and Bernard, aged respectively 11, 9 and 7 years, all of whom survive him.

Date of death was January 4, 1897.
Married May 4, 1884 Mary Ellen Trainor in New Boston, TX.

Will take the advise and start with Mississippi.

Thanks for the help.
