There is a letter written by Col. David Walker(pres. of the cessesstion convention) that is in the special collections section in the Library at the Univ. of Ar. It is an eye witness account of the battles fought at Prarie D'Anne and Camden.
I have a copy of it, but unfortunately my Grandson is using it for research at the Univ. He gives an accurate
account of everything that happened right down to the amount of equiptment they confiscated,wounded,killed etc.
I thought that I had posted it on this sight several years ago. Maybe Bryan Howerton might remember. I'll try to
recover my research in the near future and repost it.
