That is why I included the pension records, and veteran census info. The ARk Hist Comm may not have the CSR's for each state but they do have the consolidated CS index of veterans which could be utilized as well. THere is no way to give a generic % of those who served vs those who didn't, especially if you are just using a cemetery established after the war. To have anywhere near an accurate look, you would have to take each man and search to see his activitiy. There is absolutely nothing out there, and no way to have everying in a nice little package to show the numbers you seek. Only through extensive research could you come close to determining what you seek for that cemetery. That is why I am doing an extensive study on Saline Co soldiers of 1860. If I went to all who moved there after the war etc it would be an almost impossible chore.
