We have a number of "Contributing Authors" who devote many hours of their time to participating in our discussions on the message boards. As a reward for their participation, I advertise and provide purchasing links for their books. For those authors who are not contributors, I don't mind a posting with a review and maybe even a couple of responses, but when we get into ordering instructions, pricing, etc. It seems to reward non-contributing authors, as much as those who make a special effort to participate here. If I were a "Contributing Author" I'd be a little perturbed at too much promotion of a book by an author who has never taken part in these discussions.

This is a request, not a demand, that we limit the discussion to the content of the book and not the promotion or order instructions for non-contributor's books. I'm very protective and appreciative when it comes to our Contributing Authors.
