Born 1838 in Ky. John Thomas in Pangburn, White Co. Ark on 28 Feb 1907 he was 68.
Interred Henderson Cem., White Co. AR on 29 Feb 1907.Ocup. Farmer, religion: Baptist.
Served pvt Co D 1st Regt Miss Vols Age 22, Co. pay roll of prev. stated org. called into service of MS Aug 24 to Sept 19,1861. Enrolled Hernando, MS Mustered into service Iuka, Ms. Capt WJA Boons Co. Desoto Grays, 12st Reg. Miss vols. wounded ...sent to Clarksville Tn.last paid Feb 28,1863. Captured Port Hudson LA July 9, 1863. Dischg. Jan 20, 1865.

How can I trace back for info. Upon his discharge, he moved to Pangburn, Ark. and establ. Masonic Lodge.
I am quite interested in this also. Tried Ark. Masons and nothing.Have nice pic of him as Master of Lodge.
