The story is that he got sick during the war and didn't recover before he died in 1869.
His wife was Alpha Ann Honeycutt Barnett. Alpha appears on the 1850 census of Extra tsp, Ashley Co. Arkansas at 19, with husband James D (about 25), and son Heugh {odd spelling}
Can anybody identify this guy? CWSS leaves too many possibilities, so I need some help.
