Re: GAGE: Madison & Carroll Co's AR

Unfortunately there is little to be found in the Compiled Service Records which I copy below for Tilford and William. Have not been able to find Abraham.

Tilford D. Gage enlisted as a Private in Company B, Crawford's Battalion, Arkansas Cavalry*, March 2, 1863 in Madison County by Capt. Phillips for the war, recorded present on the June 30. 1863 muster roll, no further records, this is the one and only muster roll extant for Company B

William Gage has one card (Index) recording him as a Private in Company B, Harrell's Battalion, Arkansas Cavalry, there are no follow on muster roll cards

* This battalion subsequently became Harrell's Battalion Arkansas Cavalry, which was also known as 17th Battalion Arkansas Infantry
