Re: John Dearing McGeehee's Regiment Arkansas Cava

His uncle was captured in Phelps County, Missouri on October 18, 1864.

John was surrendered with his command May, 1865, two weeks later, he, along with his regiment were paroled. They did not enter a POW camp.

There are no muster rolls in the records which provide us intelligence as to when and where he enlisted, or other personal data.

Assume, upon parole, he found his way home.
