I am looking for information for James Polk Fancher who served with the Confederate forces at Pea Ridge, Shiloh and Cornith. What unit he was in and what activites that unit undertook at Pea Ridge. James Polk Fancher was from Carroll County and served as Carroll County Clerk from 1874-76 and County Judge for a time. I am not sure where the unit enlisted. Could be Berryville, Carrollton or Osage.
