My g-g-g-grandfather, John Pennington, enlisted and fought with Co. C of the 33rd Ark Infantry. According to the information that I have put together he trained at Marshal Texas, fought at Prairie Grove, Mansfield Louisiana, and Jenkins Ferry. Anyone have any other sources of information where I might find further info on the 33rd Ark?
