Since my great-great-uncle, Col. Squire Boone, was one of the field officers of the 15th Arkansas (Northwest) Infantry, I was wondering if there are any photographs, documents or any other artifacts in existence relating to Col. Boone or the 15th Arkansas. I assume most of these items would be in a museum, but has anyone ever seen any available for sale? Col. Boone was a prisoner of war at Alton, Ill. and Camp Chase, Ohio. Were photos taken of officers when they arrived at these Union prisons? I would like to locate a photo of Col. Boone in his military uniform and a document signed by him.
