Re: Stagecoach Rd, northern Lonoke County

There was a history buff reporter, that worked for the paper. He would write a historical article every now and then and this was one. He died a number of years ago, but before he died we would discuss some early Lonoke county history (Prairie county). There's a little more to the story, but not much. It kinda pinpoints the road and site where the chase took place. The story was passed on by one of the grandchildren of Mr Deal. One of the Deal families lived in the area about twenty-five years ago. I contacted them, but they were not interested in talking about it. I'm sure I have the article around here some where, but haven't seen it in years, so for now I'm going by memory.
