o John Walter Oursler, b. 03 Nov 1886 in TN. He married about 1919 to Mary Amanda Short, daughter of Robert Monroe and Clara (Coleman) Short. They had one known child, Martha, b. 31 Dec 1920, and d. 28 Apr 1988 in Jackson, MS. She married 08 Apr 1944 to Dr. William Andrew Sweat, son of William Commodore and Mattie Lee (Donaldson) Sweat. o William Waddy Oursler, b. 25 Jun 1888 in TN. He was single when he completed his WWI Draft Registration on 05 Jun 1917, but he appears in the 1920 Census for District 55, Shelby County, TN, with wife Carolyn M. and son William W., age 3 ½ months.
o Beatrice Oursler, b. 13 Jan 1892 in Shelby County, TN., d. 02 Dec 1962, burial in Magnolia Cemetery, Collierville, Shelby County, TN (Find-A-Grave). She married 31 Dec 1919 to Oliver Perry Piper (1891-1962), son of Cornelius Bernard and Celia (Rix) Piper. Oliver died in 1962, burial also in Magnolia Cemetery (Find-A-Grave).
Samuel Albert Thomas, b. 26 Feb 1860, Hickory Plains, Prairie County, Arkansas, d. 01 May 1941 in Pulaski County, Arkansas. o Vaden Waddy Thomas, b. 04 Nov 1902 in IL, d. 21 Dec 1974 in San Diego, San Diego County, CA. He married in 1949 in Honolulu, HI, to Emily Kalaimi Nuuhiwa, daughter of Solomon David and Emily Cecelia (Haiima) Nuuhiwa. She died in March 1983.
o James Phillip Thomas, b. 20 Feb 1906 at Nashville, Davidson County, TN, d. 07 Feb 1993 in San Diego, CA. He married 24 Oct 1926 at San Diego, CA to Rosina Kathleen Bruun, daughter of Oscar Christian and Maymie Henderson (Tucker) Bruun.
Irene died after 1910 in Jefferson County, Arkansas. Samuel married before 1920 to
Gertrude Mary Rolley Andrews, daughter of Sydon and Clementine C. Rolley, and widow of Sam Andrews. She died 08 Aug 1944, burial place unknown.
