George L. Dickson (records are under Dixon) appears on a muster roll of Austin’s Company, Columbia Guards mustered in May 29, 1861 at Little Rock. Sworn into Austin’s Company, 6th Arkansas at Pitman’s Ferry on Sept 12. He was captured at Stones River where he was severely wounded in the chest and died Jan 2, 1863
