ELECTION OF OFFICERS

WARREN, ARKANSAS

1861

This is to certify that we, W. L. Jewell, S. W. Givens and Ike Wilson,
having been appointed and duly qualified as Judges to preside at the election of
officers for the "Sweeney Riflemen" a volunteer Company in Bradley County,
that we proceed to hold said Election on the 26th of January, 1861. When upon
the counting of ballots, it was ascertained that for the office of:

CAPTAIN: B. F. Swinney received 16 votes

S. W. Givens received 10 votes

1st LIEUTENANT Ike L. Dunlop received 24 votes

W. L. Neely received 2 votes

2nd LIEUTENANT H. C. Fisher received 19 votes

T. A. Smith received 2 votes

Robt. Neely received 6 votes

3rd LIEUTENANT J. B. Thompson received 14 votes

C. Moseley received 1 votes

A. J. Ballard received 2 votes

Ike Willson received 4 votes

Wm. Sheilds received 5 votes

In witness whereof we hereunto set our hands as such Judges this 28th
January 1861.
