I am researching the 10th Missouri Cavalry, Company D. Col. Robert R. Lawther was in charge of this partisan ranger unit. A couple of questions:

1. I understand that the unit was active in September 1864 as men were present at roll call, but disbanded in October. Is this because they were going to accompany Price through his Expedition in Missouri or is it because so many men deserted?

2. Their roll call in September 64 was in Des Arc. Was there anything activity of signficance there?
