I have two more volunteer Companies from Hot Springs County (47th Militia Regiment ) that I am trying to track down, the "Hot Springs Guards" Captain E. H. Stewart commissioned on 2 May 1861 and the "Hot Springs Rangers" , Captain Joseph Jester, commissioned, 19 June 1861.

I think the Rangers are probably the Hot Springs .Cavalry—Capt. Joseph Jester; Co. F, 3rd Arkansas Cavalry, from Bryan Howerton's list.

Not sure about the Guards ?
