Toward the end of the war, ten depleted Arkansas regiments, including the 15th Arkansas, were lumped together as the 1st Arkansas Consolidated Infantry, April 9, 1865. This regiment surrendered with the Army of Tennessee at Greensboro, North Carolina, April 26, 1865.
