I have been through most. Danny Odom and Bryan Howerton did a lot on this back in 2005 on the Arkansas board. I have gone through their data and more. The lack of records for Brooks Battalion from muster to May 1862 when he took Medical leave an Stirman took over till Jan 1863. If you look at Stirman's Battalion it looks like it started in Jan 1863. By tracking Companies I/6 TX and H/9 TX CAV I can locate Stirman's Regiment at Corinth and Hatchie Bridge. Cozzen's also had Stirman in his book.
