Several soldiers of Company F, 26th Arkansas Infantry Regiment, received detached duty with Daniel’s 9th TX Battery. According to their CSR for the 26th AR INF they enlisted 16 Jun 1862 at Tulip, Dallas County, then transferred to the 9th TX Battery on 12 Aug 1862. According to their CSR for the 9th TX ART, they enrolled in that unit on 03 May 1862 at Tulip, Dallas County, more than a month before enlisting in the 26th.
