I think you are correct. I honestly think that any Union soldier that came through Arkansas had to have come through
DeVall's Bluff. The whole area was over ran with Union soldiers. Now unless you have actually read about it or were raised in this
area, you just do not know that anything relating to the Civil War ever happened in Arkansas.
