I would like to know who did the article in the family historian...

Thomas Elrod is one of my ancestosr, he married Dixon's sister. There were also two men from Company I that drowned as well. I have not seen any letter from George Dixon. I did a complete editing of these letters of Elrod's and had them printed in The Saline, journal of the Saline Co History Society. before this article. Just wondering if they copied my article or did something entirely different or was this George Dixon's letters? Would love to have a digital copy if you have it....aconfed@att.net. Thomas Elrod did die in summer of 1862 at Panola Mississippi and buried in the Roots family plot.

Also, is there any official reporting of the sinking of the Okaw Belle? I can't seem to find anything other than CSR's and Elrod's letter.
We are placing memorial markers for the 4 men from Saline Co in Co B, in our local Confederate Memorial Cemetery.
