Not that I'm aware of.

But it is a possibility due to the casualities suffered at Jenkins Ferry. Hardy's Regiment from all indications was a small regiment of maybe between 3 or 400 at best in May 1863. It was actually (in My Opinion) organized as a "holding regiment" in February 1863 to await the exchange and return to Arkansas of the men of the 19th and 24th Arkansas that were captured at Arkansas Post. By July 1863 it became appearent that those men were not going to return to Arkansas, thus Hardy's Regiment was born and attached to Frost's Brigade.
