Hello. I have searched for the story of a man being hung by the Yankees for years.
Have to wonder if this man was connected to the 1st Arkansas somehow.
I know that my ancestor, Fielding Price, Lt. with the 1st Arkansas, died in the Yankee Prison in Little Rock,
on Feb. 1, 1865. The story that went with that was he got treated better than his neighbor/friend, as they had
hung the neighbor. Price's family was around Stony Point in White County.
The men from the 1st were strung over several counties.
