I was hoping for some information about Duke Sumner who is reported to have come from Missouri and settled into Randolph Co, Arkansas after the war. It is reported he was killed by horse thieves in 1877. I would love to see an article describing the killing or any other info on Sumner. He had a brother, Henry, who was also involved in bushwacking back in Missouri during the war. Thanks.
