Yes sir, I agree, much was in flux that summer and I think that Etter's battery may not have received six guns as orgionally intended. It seems that most of the Trans-Mississippi Batteries at this point were four gun organizations, but I think conventional wisdon is still that Etter had Parrott guns, is that not correct?
