UPDATE: I thought the Camp Nelson presentation by R. D. Keever
turned out great. Everyone present seemed to enjoy being there
and after they checked his display items out would step back and let
more people move forward. The song/music CD was a total hit.
While, I was surprised to see that many children there,
it just proves that there was something for everyone.
An overall estimate of 100 would be believable for the number
in attendance. Be sure to watch the Cabot Star Herald and The Leader
out of Jacksonville, for stories and photos.
I was so pleased to see the sun and the interested crowd and
Mr. Keever did an excellent job. It was such a pleasure to be there.
Wish more could have had the privilege of hearing the true story
of Camp Nelson.
