Just know that people named their children after someone they admired.
The g grandfather of my children was named Daniel Webster Graham, so I would
guess someone admired education. He ended up being a country doctor.
If all else fells, go to Salt Lake City to the Family Library and do some research.

Somewhere in your posting, I think it mentions Banks County, (north Georgia) Georgia.
If so, that is where the branch of the ACREY family that spells it with the
Y, came from. Beautiful country, but I bet it difficult to make a living in way back.
