Hindman named th Trans-Miss Rifle Regiments

I thought I had seen references to Trans-Mississippi Rifle Regiments in Hindman's orders, and ran back accorss it last night. The references to the Trans-Mississippi Rifle Regiments occur in:

Copybook of Special Orders from Thomas Hindman's Command, 11 Jun. 19 Aug. 1862. Peter Wellington Alexander Papers, Box 8, Rare Book & Manuscript Library at Columbia University in the City of New York.

Here is an Example of Hindman refering to Pleasant's regiment as the 1st Trans Miss Infantry:

I Capt D.W. Ringo is authorized and instructed to direct the Enrolling Officers of Perry, Hot Spring, Yell, Scott and Saline Counties Ark. to collect arms, ammunition and accoutrements, and is also authorized to procure subsistence stores for the Companies raised by him in the above named counties, by purchase, or, impressment, if necessary giving duplicate receipts therefor, allowing reasonable prices for all articles purchased, subject to approval at these Head Quarters.
II The Company organized in Hot Spring County, by Capt Jno [John] Torbett, is hereby directed to report immediately to Capt D. [Daniel] W. Ringo.
III Capt L.A. Weatherford is authorized to collect arms, & ammunition in Bradley County, Arks, by purchase or if necessary, by impressment, for the army, giving duplicate receipts at reasonable prices therefor, subject to approval at these Head Quarters.
IV Capt Thomas Rector, will proceed without delay to Washington & other places, and procure certain lots of flour which will be designated by Chief Commissary [John C.] Palmer, and have same brought to this place. He is authorized to impress wagons if necessary to have the Flour transported to this place, in accordance with instructions heretofore given him by Major Palmer.
V Martial law is hereby declared in and within five miles of the town of Brownsville. Isaac C Hicks is appointed Provost Martial at that place and will be furnished with full instructions by Col B [Benjamin] F Danley, Chief Provost Marshal of the "Trans Miss District."
VI A "Board of Survey" to consist of Captain Gibson and Lieutenants Hay & Whitehead, of [Asa S.] Morgans Battalion is appointed, to meet forthwith at the Post Commissary's Office, for the purpose of examining a certain lot of Beef, which will be pointed out by the Post Commissary, & deciding what disposition shall be made of the same. The action of the Board to be reported, in writing, to these Head Quarters.
VII Maj John A. Geoghagan is assigned to duty as Lieut Col and Capt Sam S. Bell as Major, of Pleasant [Joseph C. Pleasants] Regiment to take rank from this date.
VIII Upon the recommendation of Col [Joseph C.] Pleasants, Lieut C.H. Rundell is appointed 1st Lieut of Infantry and Adjutant of the 1st Rgt Trans Miss Infantry, to take effect from this date. IX Capt F. [Francis] M. Chrisman to hereby appointed Major of Cavalry in the P.A.C.S. and will report to Br Genl [Albert] Rust as such, for duty.
X Col F. [Francis] A. Shoup will assume command of Col Pleasant's "1st Trans Miss Infantry". Daniel's Lamar Artillery and [William] Hart's Company of Artillery, and more the same -, the last named with its heavy guns across the Arkansas River at daylight in the morning, and to Devalls Bluff [Arkansas] on White River by such mode as he may consider most, expeditious. If Col [Allison] Nelson is not at Deval's Bluff, Col Shoup will assume command there and adopt the best means practicable, for holding the place and resisting the progress of the Federal Gun Boats & transports up White River. Should Col Nelson be at that place, however, Col Shoup will report to him and remain there as his second in command.
XI Martial law is hereby declared in Jefferson County Arks. Mr T.S. James will act as Provost Marshal of that County, executing orders as given him by Chief Provost Marshal [Benjamin F.] Danley.
XII Upon the recommendation of Col [Joseph C.] Pleasants, 1st Lieut T.H. Blacknall is appointed Captain of Co "E" 1st Regt Trans Miss Infantry, to take rank from this date. By command of Maj. Gen [Thomas C.] Hindman R. [Robert] C. Newton A.A. Genl.
