And it looks like Andrew and Marion both served afterwards. Andrew joined June 1, 1862 in Co A 19 (Dawson’s) Ark Inf. Was captured at Ark Post sent to Camp Douglas. Afterwards in 19 and 24 Ark Inf in Army of Tenn and was wounded at Chickamauga slightly in shoulder. Was present at surrender as part of 1st Consolidadet Ark Infantry. Marion also joined 19th (Dawson’s) Ark Inf but was not captured at Ark Post and served in Hardy’s 19/24 Ark Inf in the Trans Miss forces and records show him present up to Aug 1863. Records end as do many soldiers in Trans Miss. during 1863-64. Another relative (brother or cousin) also enlisted with them named David. He was captured at Ark Post as well. Later had small pox but returned to fight and be captured at Jonesboro, Ga in Aug 1864 but released a month or so later. At some point he was wounded after that and was in hospital at Meridian, MS Wayside hospital in March 1865. All of the Conatser were originally in 4th Ark Inf until their company was transferred to the 16th. Hope this fills the gaps.
