Re: John Benge - 1st Cav - State Troops

Ken,

I may be biting off more than I can chew, but I have been thing of listing all NAs by name according to the units in which they served. I was going to build a webpage to honor them. What got me interested is a read a report of a Union commander in which he stated something like "600 Indians were killed" in this battle. Well I got to thinking of 600-- then how many total would have served? Has anyone done any work in this area that you know of???

thanks,
GP
