Re: 32nd Tn. Inf. and flintlocks

Thanks Jim. Apparently the 32nd Inf. muskets hadn't been converted to percussion yet since a report in the OR states the snowfall at Ft. Donelson caused some problems with wet snow falling off the undergrowth and the flintlock weapons had to be cleaned. Most of the 32nd was captured at Ft. Donelson, so these weapons were captured too I'm sure.
Could these have been milita issue weapons?
