sn@wtc massechusetts model 1863 type1

I have a .58 caliber rifle musket made under contract from the state of Massachusetts by Samuel Norris and William T. Clement. It is original and correct except for the sling that is from 1864. I am looking for any information such as production numbers I have heard anywhere from 3,000 to 50,000 were produced, estimated value ETC. This is a family heirloom and is not for sale. The stock is cracked at the neck and I am interested in locating a original 1863 stock, If anyone can point me in the right direction on this I would be grateful.
My great great grandfather Jacob Kise served in the 35th regimen company D of New Jersey volunteers until his discharge in August 1865. I have his discharge papers, payroll receipts and hospital records from injuries sustained during the war. If anyone or association would be interested in copies I would be happy to share them.
