Even though I'm an old sailor, I prefer the Colt 1860 Army. The 1851 Navy grip was the source of that of the 1873 SSA. I have also fired the Remington 1858. The solid frame has a lot to recommend it, but the shape of the trigger guard always busted my knuckle on the second finger. To each his own, I guess. Good Shooting. Stan
