Speaking of Army and Navy calibers; has anyone done any research concerning why the Army chose .44 and the Navy .36 caliber? (We won't mention that ".44" was actually .451, and ".36" was about .375, and the modern,circa 1899, ".38" is actually .357. We don't have time to explain all that! LOL) Stan
