Hi Cousin Jim!

Today is the big day. I'm going to the Antiques Roadshow with Frank West's gun. I'm hoping to get a very good result on it! According to the Colt book I have & the serial number on this gun (102946), it was made in 1884.

I had contacted Colt and was told it would be $75 to do research on the serial number - with or without success. Since Frank died in Dec 1886, he only had it for about 2 years. What other information would a research tell me? I'm guessing it was probably sold to the Ft. Smith courts (Judge Isaac Parker) in a group of guns.
