Was wondering how much an origional .36 cal. Gris would bring on the open market. My brother in law inherited one in perfect condition with 4 notches carved in the grip. The cal is .36 and according to family legend, his ancestor was Cav. under NB Forest. Identical to my dixie gun works 1851 colt navy. I've tried to get him to stop displaying the thing in the den on a display rack since Birmingham isn't exactly the best place to display anything. Any ideas about the worth of this one would be appreciated.
