All information is of use, I have ideas of what some things are but as I'm no expert would far sooner someone who knows more than me to help.
The main things that spring to mind are: would the Springfield he is holding be the studios like so often?
The uniform, for the period that this soldier was in the Army, would seem to be incorrect for what little is known of the Regiments uniforms.
As I run a web-page on the 16th Tenn, & within this is a page on their arms & equipment, I would like to do my best to get anything I add as correct as possible.
