I have a rifle that belonged to one of my ancesters.It is an ORIGINAL JGH KARABINER 6mm.It also has his initials burnt on the handle. They are EWB. They stand for Edward William Bass who was supposed to be a high ranking officer in the Confederate Army. I am trying to verify any of this information. Thank You for any assistance you can provide.
