Hi Folks,
I am the Commander of the 6th Virginia Infantry, Co. E, CSA, N-SSA. The history I have on my unit says they were originally a farm guard formed in Nansemond Co. Va. (now Suffolk VA). I have some history on my unit, but have not been too successfull in finding a description of the uniforms issued to this company.
Does anyone out there know of some sources that may help locate this information. I am hoping to outfit our troops as closely to original issue as possible.
