Without knowing how authentic you desire to be, I would go with a basic, common, mid war ANV impression. This would fit the bill for almost all of the Virginia units in the ANV at any given time, excepting very early and very late war. This would include a grey or grey/brown wool jean or satinnette Richmond Depot type II Shell jacket, Richmond depot style trousers of similar color and material, and either a wool jean kepi, or a good quality slouch hat.
