It was as you say, a beast of a gun. My first shotgun. Full choke with a thirty inch barrel. Knock a rabbit down at maybe 60 yards. With tall brass shells it would really reach out and kiss those ducks. Military model had a 20 inch barrel I think. Better to swing around in the trench.
