please see my post of 16th August 2005. S & C stands for the firm Spangenberg & Consorten in Suhl, Germany, today State of Thuringia. It is as stated not a Prussian gun! There are also other makers on this Navy musket known. If You are interested in more informations, also relating its use in Germany, let me know.
