I'm know more curious than ever about these. I saw a double action at a show yesterday just into the 11000 serial number range. It doesn't have an anchor / J S. I began to wonder if the double actions were those of the confederate navy purchase vs the other larger purchase. I am seeing other double actions in the recognized 3000 - 10000 number range without anchor / J S too. What do you experts think? Are only the single actions marked? Inquisitive minds want to know.
