Re: Kerr revolver dble vs single action

I have only seen single action Kerrs. I am assured by Val Forgett , Jr., that some early ones were double action. I can't figure out how any pull of the trigger could possibly cock back that hammer - since the gun is like a back action rifle or pistol lock, the spring is strong, and there would not be much leverage created by the trigger to move that hammer against that force.
