I, too, own a Kerr JS, but I've never seen any listing of a single Kerr and its' soldier. I assumed the man served the Confederacy, so I looked into the records and found 94 "Glenn" serving Virginia. You could possibly go through each soldiers record, and look for anyone in a cavalry unit, or was a commisioned officer. An enlisted infantryman would not carry such a weapon.
