1809 Potsdam Musket

I have to start this post with a big thank you to the knowledgeable folks on this board, I have learned alot about my old guns from you and because of you I have read a couple of great books this week too.

This one is an 1809 Potsdam Musket that was mfg marked 1828 and has been converted to percussion, about .75 cal, 3 brass barrel bands with sling swivels, markings on the brass buttplate top are 245 as on the barrel bands also, left of top buttplate screw is stamped 11, right of same screw is stamped C, below this same screw is stamped 13.1.R. (or 13.i.R.) on bottom of buttplate is stamped 84525, below that is 1828, lock is marked in script FW and below that is marked Saarn, crisp cartouche on left side in the usual place is a circle with an S inside and an H stamped into the stock 1/2 inch behind it. Can anyone tell me if this gun was used in the civil war? or who might have used it? Again I thank you Knowledgeable folks for your help, Merry Christmas to all, Ranger Bob.
