I am trying to find out what I have. It is a smooth bore, 56" from the end of the barrel to the end of the stock. The barrel is 40" long and the bore as best I can tell is just a little shy of 3/4". The barrel is thinner on one side so it is hard to tell the exact bore. I might be able to get a set of inside mics deep enough in the bore to get a more accurate measurement. on the hammer side there are some letters stamped into the metal, these are: JOUR_ _ _ _ (as best we can tell) on the opposite side of the barrel there is SF followed by a 3 point crown. also on the side there is a LH followed by a 3 point crown. The butt plate seems to be steel, I have not tried to clean it any to see. the ram rod is missing, but the holders are bronze or brass. I will take pictures and email them to anyone that can help me. thanks in advance for any help.
